Every morning for 2 months I walk into the familiar main hallway; my footsteps wish back against the once crowded linoleum floor. Opening the theatre doors, the moodyamoor threatens to leak outside. Feeling my way to the a set about board I throw the light switch, the only light that bursts on is the salute light. I raise the house lights to a dimness that resembles the first light in the morning. I walk to the lit stage, drawn to the light like a moth.
Walking up the steps to the stage, the smells of blackened paint similarly like a black Sharpie. As I stand center stage, silence envelops the space in a calm natural state. The bright lights meant to blind me; instea d, zestfulness me in a comfortable glow. T! he audience is empty; the chairs spill the shadows of previous audience members. The red velvet curtains frame the instance of the stage, adding an elder glamour to the stage. When I stand on this stage, I feel calm; free of the worries and stresses of the bothday matters that plague the every day. hardly once there are children; a cute liveness that interprets everything to the fullest, the theatre is changed.
