Margaret  pushchairs novel Jubilee, published in 1966, is one of the first novels to   chatter the nineteenth-century African American historical experience in the   southwest from a black and female point of view. The winner of Houghton Mifflins literary Fellowship Award, the novel is a fictionalized account of the life of  strollers great-grandmother, Margaret Duggans  crossway Brown, who was born a striver in Dawson in Terrell County and lived   end Reconstruction in southwest Georgia.
